Ewwww (but at least their boots are up). Did you happen to read the editorial in the FNP about the lab on Plum Island? Talk about a conspiracy theory. We've had a few patrons come in saying they have Lyme disease. Saturday morning a patron said she was at a wine festival and was bitten by a tick. She claims to have just been diagnosed with the disease. She seemed to blame her husband for it -- I guess he was the one who dragged her to the wine tasting event!
Yeah, husbands are an easy target, but it sounds like she's stretching it just a bit on that one! As for the editorial, no I haven't seen it but I have read much of the book "Lab 257 : The Disturbing Story of the Government's Secret Germ Laboratory". It's pretty scary but stranger things have been true!
